I've heard there are poor souls that are allergic, but I can't imagine.

[And that's a knock on your door, Tony.]

It's open.

[Texted mostly because he can. And he doesn't feel like getting up. JARVIS is handy for opening doors.

He spins absently in his desk chair towards her as Ava lets herself in.]

Cookies?

Cookies.

[She affirms with a slight smile as she lets herself in. There's a cookie tin, but also something that's very clearly not cookies. Some sort of art print; immediate colors seem to be red and gold. She'd been messing around with watercolors, and Tony made a rather interesting subject (he has a good face, okay) especially in his armor.

She's still unsure if giving it to him is weird or not, but Steve's made her a little more confident in her art lately. So well, here they are. And there are other reasons she wanted to swing by, too.]

[He lifts an eyebrow at whatever the other thing is that she has -- he can make assumptions, but he's at least trying to be semi-polite -- and just leans back in his chair and makes gimme hands.]

And to what do I owe the bounty? Dum-E, don't even think about it.

[The last delivered without looking over at the bot that's come to an abrupt stop, apparently in the middle of heading towards the newcomer.]

[He holds out his hands and she smiles, and carefully hands over the painting. Watercolor, sort of a shoulders-up view of Tony in the suit with the faceplate. The detail on the drawing is maybe a little worrying for something Tony didn't actually model for, and the colors are neatly done, if a little too blocky in places, or not as perfectly blended as she'd been aiming for, but she's always a little overly critical.]

Happenstance? I draw. A lot. But I've been playing with watercolors lately, and this one turned out alright, so--

[She shrugs her shoulders a little self-consciously. It's fine, she's fine.]

[The other eyebrow rises to join the first one as he gets a good look at it. And he's no art critic, he's been informed on multiple occasions that he has zero eye for it, but this is...good. And not just because it's him.

Not that it stops him from flicking Ava a quick smirk.]

Is this your way of saying I need to decorate in here?

[What, it's almost like a thank you.]

[He smirks and she smiles. There were emotions tied up in the reasons, but it was easier not to talk about it. She just was pleased with the fact that he seemed to like it.]

Well. I'm just saying it wouldn't hurt.

[It's almost like a thank you, and she teases him a little in a reply that's easier than putting that into words.]

I hope you like the cookies. I've never baked anything before? But I tested them on Steve, so they should at least be edible.

[Is she joking? No, no she isn't. She really did make Steve try her cookies until they came out right.]

Okay, but you realize he heals and stuff, right? That's not exactly encouraging to us mere mortals.

[But it's pretty clear that he's teasing as he carefully sets the painting the side on his desk and turns to reach out for the cookies instead. He's not going to turn down free pastry.]

If I die, I'm leaving everything to Dum-E.

Oh, c'mon. I was making sure they tasted good, not testing for poison. [She hands them over with a smile. The cookies are pleasantly soft, a little more brown sugar and vanilla than usual, but it had been an old cookbook. Of course, maybe that had been why Steve liked them.]

That's honestly a terrifying idea, you know. Oh, but actually--

[She pauses, pulling out a very ugly stuffed toy, and tosses it lightly toward DUM-E. Can he catch? Who knows. Yes, she got something for your robots, Tony. Hopefully they can share.]

Didn't want them to feel left out.

[Dum-E does might have caught it, if he'd had any idea it was coming. As it was, the toy bounces off of his frame and Dum-E's claw twists around to inspect it. A moment or so of poking the thing, and he finally picks it up with an air of pride.

Tony, who'd watched the entire thing with open amusement, snorts and flicks a look Ava's way.]

I'm sure he appreciates it.

[The bot seems pleased at least, toy still held aloft as he scoots over towards his charging station.]
