[ Dorian promptly arrives there. He doesn't look like much of a mess those the scrapes have clearly torn through his skin and the blue metallic glow was extremely visible. His fingers are twitching which is probably not a great sign. ]

Tony?

Hey.

[Tony blinks at him as he appears out of the back of the workroom.]

So you weren't kidding, huh?

No?

Why would I be kidding?

[He smiles a little as he gestures at Dorian to come further into the space.]

So let's take a look at you. Any internal injuries?

[ It takes him a moment to respond as he shuffles closer. ]

I don't think so. I would notice that kind of injury.

Good to know. Mind if I do a scan?

[ Dorian nods. ]

Of course.

Awesome. J?

[There's a brief pause.]

Have I introduced you to JARVIS yet? Meet JARVIS.

[He waves vaguely around the workshop like that's supposed to help.]

[ Dorian is more than familiar with AI houses so he merely glances upward with a polite smile. ]

Hello, JARVIS. How are you today?

Fine, thank you Mr Dorian. If you will hold still for a moment, please.

[There's a second of bright light before a glowing wireframe of Dorian's general form begins to pick itself out in the air next to him. Before long, it's fairly detailed, right down to the damaged bits.]

Okay. So I think I can probably fix most of it. [Tony's looking thoughtful, attention mostly on the scan.] Not sure about the skin, though. Do you know what it's made of?

[ Dorian frowns, mulling it over. ]

It's just synthetic. I'm not sure of its makeup though.

Synthetic, okay. Well. We can focus on the electronics first and then see what we can do about that.

[He frowns thoughtfully at the scan, then turns that look on Dorian himself.]

Anything you want me to focus on first?

Circuitry. That's always been tricky.

One time wires crossed and I was singing Korean pop for hours.

[It startles a laugh out of Tony as he tries to usher Dorian over towards one of the clearer worktables.]

We'll see if we can avoid that. Do you need to shut down or anything while I'm working?

No, I don't think so.

[ Rudy has worked on him while he's been conscious. Dorian climbs onto the table, lying down. ]

Alright, fair enough.

[Tony does flick him a look as he goes to collect his tolls, though.]

Want to watch a movie or something? It can't be that interesting to just hang out there.

[ It's true, though Dorian is used to it. ]

What kind of movie?

Uh, I've got kind of a lot of options. J, give him the list?

[Agreeably enough, a glowing list of movie titles pops up within Dorian's eyeline. Not as many as Tony might have had at home, but still a pretty decent amount.]

[ Dorian squints at the list. ]

I think you better pick one.

[Tony flashes him a grin that says he might regret that as he walks back over. But he's not going to be too obnoxious. Robot movies are probably a little too on the nose.]

Die Hard? That's usually a pretty good distraction.

[ Dorian runs it through his head and smiles. ]

A cop movie. Sure, why not. It would be interesting to see from a past perspective.

In the loosest sense of the word, sure. Do not try this at home. J, start it up and we'll get going.

[He gestures dramatically as the screen flickers into view at the start of the movie.]

Shout if you need anything.

[ Dorian squints at the movie as it plays on. ]

This man is a terrible officer. He's worse than John.

[Tony's attention is pretty firmly on the work he's doing, considering the circuitry requires a lot of fine detail. And he'd really like not to cross Dorian's wires accidentally.

But the comment does filter through just enough to make him huff out a laugh.]

He's off duty. Gives him a pass, right?

That's not how off-duty works.

[ It's like looking at a mirror of Kennex and it's both funny and a little worrying. ]

Why is he doing everything on his own?
