And from what I've heard so far, all I can tell you is that it may mean evicting monsters. Actual monsters, like flesh-eating plants.

Yeah, that's a thing. Kind of a long story. But you've got the right one, so nice to meet you.

I've run into the plants. Evicting them is going to take work. What's your specialty?

I've already gotten the impression that everyone here comes with a long story behind them, the ones connected to you in some way even longer ones.

My specialty is - probably of little help, as I work with quantum computers on a rather intimate level. Problem solving, troubleshooting, alternate courses of action: all of those I can still offer?

I've signed us up for the masquerade auction. Try and do something to hide the height difference.

Quantum computing? Yeah, that might be a little outside the scale of what we're working with. But good to know.

I'm not judging, just trying to figure out how best to work this. First step is probably find somewhere to set up lab space.

The polytechnic university? They could likely offer us supplies as well as space, not to mention a skilled - or at least partially skilled workforce eager for more experience right at our door.

Not a bad idea to at least see what they have, but I'm leery about setting up shop in a school. Too many things we're probably not going to want people poking into.

I've always wondered what it'd be like to sleep with myself and we'll find out once and for all if we're really that similar.

Now I'm thinking an image inducer. I won't insult you and ask if you can prepare one, but it'd need to be calibrated to our image. The neurotic one might be hesitant so feel free to call me when you're ready.

He doesn't look too impressed with his brother putting his information out there, but with everything they had planned coming up, he was probably going to need a decent mechanic sooner rather than later.]

If the offer still stands, you should probably take a look to make sure it's something you can work with before I actually need any repairs.

Ed doesn't exactly sound like himself here, but that's mostly because he's trying to sound professional and it hardly comes naturally to him. He also doesn't bother to offer an introduction right away, but that's more or less because most people can figure out his name on their own.]

It's a masquerade, the point is to make it difficult to recognise one another. We're far too distinctive for subtlety, but we can mix it up this way.

I thought you would be an easier sell than the other one. I'll tell you what I also told him if sex isn't enough of an incentive. Doom needs to be watched and it'll be easier if we're able to cover for each other.

I have some plans that may end in me requiring repairs soon, so... whenever you have some time- my schedule's pretty flexible.
